Handcrafters of Mary Enterprise (HOME) is an ANTHILL community sewing enterprise initiative comprised of hardworking mother artisans in Tisa and Gawad Kalinga Minglanilla, Cebu, Philippines. These mothers creatively design and put together colourful remnant fabrics to give life to a unique plush toy and work for sustainable livelihood.
Our Master Crafters are known for creating customized, occupational and advocacy dolls. They are the only doll making community in the Philippines that are skilled in
making anatomically correct dolls used as a communication tool for women and children who are victims of violence or abuse. The dolls are also used for education, trauma
therapy and advocacy campaigns on gender sensitivity and awareness. HOME also promotes our weaving traditions and indigenous culture through a collection of indigenous dolls wearing their traditional wear of hand loomed textiles.
HOME is proudly a Filipino doll.
HOME awakens the senses of each child as they play.
HOME believes that dolls encourage creative expression and teach children good values.
HOME is an advocate of play and learning through play.
